ANZAC Day with Gregg's

Friday, 9 April 2010

On April 25th, New Zealanders all around the country will be celebrating ANZAC Day.

It's a day which is rich in tradition and a time to remember those who died in the service of their country and to honour returned servicemen and women.

Along with poppies, another annual tradition is ANZAC biscuits.  ANZAC biscuits were sent to soldiers during the First World War as they were a long-keeping biscuit that could survive the journey by sea, and still remain edible.  Over the years the softer and chewier versions of the biscuit have appeared and today there are many different recipes for ANZAC biscuits.

Why not try making our delicious Cranberry Oat ANZAC Biscuits this ANZAC Day?
