Ready, Steady, Pack

Packing for the holidays can take some planning, so whether you're off camping or spending some time away on holiday, check out these handy hints to make life a little easier:

  • Make a packing list of the regular things you take away every time - that way you only need to add in the extras for each different occasion.
  • Shaker jars are a great way to keep your seasonings fresh for the summer BBQs.  Our favourite flavours include Lemon Pepper, Tuscan Herb, and Garlic & Herb Sea Salt.
  • Pack Gregg's Tomato Sauce for BBQ bangers, Gregg's Flavoured Instant Coffee to enjoy lazy summer mornings reading the paper, and a range of herbs and spices flavours for the nightly BBQ.
  • Create a meal plan so you know exactly what groceries you will need - eggs are a great back-up if the fishing trip doesn't go quite as well as planned.  Serve scrambled eggs on toast topped with Gregg's Mixed Herbs for a tasty standby meal for the disappointed fishermen.
  • If you have a minimally stocked kitchen at the beach-house or on the boat, keep a note of what you currently have on hand there.  Tape it to the inside of your pantry for easy access when you are packing the groceries for the trip.
