Royal Wedding Celebration
Thursday, 14 April 2011
Everybody loves a wedding! Everybody loves a royal
wedding! And fans world wide are counting down the days till
Prince William weds his bride-to-be Catherine Middleton on April
29th 2011.
Although the royal wedding is taking place at Westminster Abbey
in London, there is no reason to miss out as it is being televised
globally. In fact, this wedding expected to break all
previous viewing records to become the most watched programme in
television history.
So for all you royal fans that did not get an invite, the next
best thing would be to hold your own wedding celebrations.
Invite a few friends over for a wedding party on the evening of
Friday 29th and enjoy the celebrations on television.
If it just the girl's, why not indulge in a traditional English
High Tea? Serve guests dainty finger sandwiches with a
selection of fillings. Some of our favourites include salmon,
cucumber and cream cheese; smoked chicken, watercress and avocado;
or roast beef, cheese and horseradish. Finger sandwiches
match perfectly with our recipe for Cocktail
Quiches. Cinnamon Honey
Scones are a must, served with jam and freshly whipped cream
and don't forget Coffee Kisses, Creamy Coffee Truffles, Brandy Baskets with
Vanilla Creme and Pear and Ginger Streusel
Cake. Serve everything on your prettiest china alongside
a big vase of scented flowers. Make sure when cutting
up your delights you keep your serving sizes dainty to keep with
the theme.
If you are inviting friends and family over for a right royal
party, try some of these tantalising recipes that are perfect for
entertaining, great for feeding a hungry crowd and are sure to
impress:
