Gregg's Coriander Seeds
Coriander is native to southern Europe and the Middle East. The
herb is an important spice crop and is grown commercially for its
seed, roots and foliage in India, the Middle East, Romania,
Morocco, Mexico, Argentina, the USA, the Caribbean and South-East
Asia.
Coriander seeds have a mild, nutty flavour, with a mild orange
peel, lemon or citrus aroma. The spice marries well with citrus (as
in marinades) and olive oil. Used predominantly in savoury dishes
coriander is often used in spice blends, in sausages and meat
dishes, pickles, chutneys and in the spice dip dukkah.
