Gregg's Crushed Ginger

Available in:

Ginger is thought to have originated somewhere in the tropics, between northern India and South-East Asia and is now cultivated all over the world in tropical regions and is even considered a weed in parts of New Zealand.

Ginger has a sweet pungent aroma and its flavour is tangy, sweet, spicy and warm. Fresh ginger is used predominantly in savoury dishes such as South East Asian and Chinese stir-fries, curry pastes and Asian sambals. It is usually not advisable to substitute ground ginger for fresh.
