This delicious Russian Style dish is a one pot winter warmer is
bound to become a family favourite.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 500g rump steak, trimmed & cut into strips
- 2 rashers of bacon, cut into strips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 250g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tsp Gregg's Smoked Paprika
- 150g sour cream
Method
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Brown the
steak in batches and set aide. Add the bacon to the pan and cook
for 2 to 3 minutes or until it is brown. Add the onion and cook for
a further 2 minutes. Add the beef back to the pan with the
mushrooms and Gregg's Smoked Paprika.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the beef and mushrooms are
cooked.
Add the sour cream and cook, stirring, until the stroganoff is
heated through and the sauce is smooth.
Remove from the pan and serve on rice, potatoes or pasta.
