A great way to 'Spice Up' your rice. Terrific with curries and
stir-fries.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/4 cup long grain rice
- 1 1/2 tsp Gregg's Ground Cumin
- 2 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 tsp Cerebos Salt
Method
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion and cook over low heat
for 2 - 3 minutes or until soft. Add the rice and Gregg's Ground
Cumin, and cook, stirring, for about 1 minute to coat the rice with
oil. Stir in the water and salt, and bring to the boil.
Cover the saucepan and cook over very low heat for 12 - 15
minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
