Indian Masala Tea

A delicious, aromatic drink which is perfect for a cold winter night.

Ingredients

Method

Place the water in a saucepan and bring to the boil.

Add the sugar (if used), Gregg's Ground Ginger and Cardamom and bring to the boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, partially covered.
Drop the tea bags into the liquid and add the milk. Bring the tea to the boil and remove from the heat until the bubbles go down. Return to the heat and bring to the boil again, then remove from the heat again. Repeat this process once or twice more.

Remove from the heat, strain into cups and serve piping hot.
