A great way to spice up mince - this versatile recipe can be
cooked on the bbq or made into meatballs.
Ingredients
- 1 small onion
- 1 tsp Gregg's Crushed Garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh mint
- 500g lean beef mince
- 1 Tbsp Berbere Spice Seasoning Blend (recipe available on this website)
- 125ml lite sour cream
- 1 tsp Berbere Spice Seasoning Blend (recipe available on this website), extra
Method
Place the onion, Gregg's Crushed Garlic and mint in a food
processor. Process until finely chopped. Add the mince and Berbere Spice Seasoning Blend and process
until well mixed.
Remove the mixture from the processor and divide into 8
portions. Shape each portion around metal or bamboo skewers in a
sausage shape.
Place under a preheated grill and cook for 15-20 minutes,
turning frequently.
Mix the sour cream with the second measure of the Berbere Spice Seasoning Blend.
Serve on rice or couscous with the sour cream sauce.
