Tex Mex Chilli Con Carne

A family favourite - simple to make and can be used to make nachos, served on rice or in tacos.

Ingredients

Method

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add the onion and capsicum and cook for 2 minutes or until the onion is soft.

Add the mince and cook for 5 minutes, or until it is browned.

Add the Gregg's Crushed Garlic and Gregg's Cajun Seasoning and cook for 2 minutes. Add the kidney beans, Gregg's Tomato Paste, Gregg's Smoked Hickory BBQ Sauce and water. Mix well, bring to the boil, reduce heat then simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve with corn chips or rice and top with grated cheese and sour cream.

Hints & Tips

    I swapped the capsicum for mushrooms and added ground chilli to my portion to give it a bit of a kick. Would be a great meal for kids.
