Vanilla Creme Caramels

This is a simple way to make this traditional dessert - looks and tastes fantastic!

Ingredients

Method

Combine the brown sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until dissolved. Divide between 6 individual dishes and place in refrigerator.

Place the Gregg's Seameal Custard Dessert Mix and a small amount of the milk in a heavy based saucepan. Mix to a smooth paste. Add the remainder of the milk and cream and mix well. Slice the Gregg's Vanilla Bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds into the milk mixture.

Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Cool before dividing the custard between the individual dishes and refrigerate until set (approximately 1 hour).

Turn out to serve.
