Winter Fruit Crumble

Fruit crumbles have always been a traditional Kiwi favourite ~ this recipe makes it so easy with Gregg's Classic Crumble Mix as a sweet, crunchy topping, sprinkled over your favourite fruit combination.

Ingredients

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place the fruit in a medium-siized ovenproof dish about 5 cm high.

Combine the Gregg's Classic crumble Mix, Gregg's Ground Cinnamon, coconut and nuts or seeds (if used) in a bowl.

Add the melted butter and toss with a fork until well blended.

Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the fruit.

Cook for 20 - 25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.

Hints & Tips

Use one type of fruit or try a combination - apple and feijoa, with a can of drained crushed pineapple, is delicious especially when served with creamy custard.
