Berry Trifle

For a contemporary take on a traditional favourite, try this impressive Berry Trifle. It's the perfect addition to your table on Christmas day, or as a fantastic summer family dessert.

How to Cook

  1. Line a bowl with the sponge pieces; cover with the drained boysenberries.
  2. Combine the milk and Gregg's Strawberry Swirl Instant Dessert Mix; beat until smooth.
  3. Stand for 5 minutes or until beginning to thicken then pour over the boysenberries.
  4. Cover with the cream.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve and eat on the day of preparation.


  • 200 g sponge cake or jam roll, cut into pieces
  • 430 g can boysenberries in syrup, drained
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 packet Gregg's Strawberry Swirl Instant Dessert
  • 1 cup cream, whipped
