Spiced ANZAC Biscuits

ANZAC biscuits are a tradition around this time of the year. The secret to our delicious ANZAC biscuits is Gregg’s ginger powder and mixed spice.

How to Cook

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan forced). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Combine flour, caster sugar, Gregg’s Ground Mixed SpiceGregg’s Ground Ginger, rolled oats, coconut and Gregg’s Natural Sea Salt in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre. Add the melted butter and golden syrup. Mix baking soda and boiling water together. Add to the well. Stir until combined.
  3. Roll spoonfuls of mixture into balls. Place 5cm apart on prepared trays. Flatten slightly. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on trays. Store in an airtight container.


  • 1 cup flour
  • ¾ cup caster sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Gregg’s Ground Mixed Spice
  • 2 tsp Gregg’s Ground Ginger
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • ½ tsp Gregg’s Natural Sea salt
  • 120 g butter, melted
  • ¼ cup golden syrup
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp boiling water
