Beef Stroganoff

This delicious Russian Style dish is a one pot winter warmer is bound to become a family favourite.

How to Cook

  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Brown the steak in batches and set aide. Add the bacon to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until it is brown. Add the onion and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the beef back to the pan with the mushrooms, Gregg's Garlic Granules, Gregg's Smoked Paprika and Gregg's Ground Paprika.
  2. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the beef and mushrooms are cooked.
  3. Add the sour cream and cook, stirring, until the stroganoff is heated through and the sauce is smooth.
  4. Remove from the pan and serve on rice, potatoes or pasta.


  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g rump steak, trimmed & cut into strips
  • 2 rashers bacon, cut into strips
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp Gregg's Garlic Granules
  • 2 tsp Gregg's Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Gregg's Ground Paprika
  • 150 g sour cream
