Beef or Chicken Nachos

Our recipe for nachos will become an irresistible family favourite and can be made with either chicken or beef. Be sure to serve with lots of cheese, sour cream and guacamole.

How to Cook

  1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and Gregg's Crushed Garlic and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the mince or chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until browned.
  2. Add the tomatoes, Gregg's Tomato Paste, Gregg's Rubbedd Oregano, Gregg's Ground Cumin and Gregg's Ground Coriander. Simmer for 15 minutes, until the mince is thoroughly cooked. Add the chilli beans and mix through.
  3. Place corn chips around the edge of four dinner plates or bowls.
  4. Divide the mince mixture into four and place in the middle of each plate.
  5. Place half a cup of mozzarella on top of each mince mixture and grill until melted (can be served with or without cheese).
  6. Serve with guacamole or sour cream and garnish with spring onions.


  • 500 g diced chicken or beef mince
  • olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can Mexican flavoured tomatoes
  • 1 50g sachet Gregg's Tomato Paste
  • 2 tsp Gregg's Crushed Garlic
  • 1 tsp Gregg's Rubbed Oregano
  • 1 tsp Gregg's Ground Cumin
  • ½ tsp Gregg's Ground Coriander
  • 1 can Mexican chilli beans
  • 500 g Tortilla corn chips
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella
  • Guacamole and/or sour cream to top
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped to garnish
